Olena ZAHORETSKA, PhD in History, Senior Research Fellow, expert in documentation and archival studies, member of the Central Expert Review Commission of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, co-author of the National Standard of Ukraine “State Unified Documentation System. Unified System of Organizational and Administrative Documentation. Requirements for Document Formatting” (DSTU 4163:2020), the Collection of Unified Forms of Organizational and Administrative Documents, and many other regulatory and methodological documents in the field of records management and archival affairs.

  1. Which templates are mandatory for a company.
  2. On what basis and in which cases the development and implementation of structural unit and/or official templates is allowed.
  3. Why the term “corporate template” should not be used.
  4. Which template should be used for joint documents authored by multiple companies.
  5. What is the difference between a corner and a longitudinal template, and how to choose the most appropriate layout for placing requisites.
  6. Which templates do not require the document type to be specified.
  7. Common mistakes when displaying the State Emblem of Ukraine and the company’s emblem or trademark on templates.
  8. On which types of templates and in which location the company’s EDRPOU code should be placed.
  9. What mandatory elements make up the “Reference Information about the Legal Entity” requisite and on which template it should be included.
  10. Is it permissible to use bilingual templates for correspondence within Ukraine.
